Business Support / Secretarial Services

We have adopted the Industry Production Standards published by the Office Business Centers International Association and the National Association of Secretarial Services for computing time charged for document production. Industry Production Standards are based on average time required in the performance of specific duties for project production by a professional word processing operator. This ensures a fair price to the client and a fair profit realized to the provider. For example, IPS reports that it will take a "model operator" 3 tenths of an hour (.3) to produce a pre-typed, well prepared one page letter.

  • Secretarial/Non-Keyboarding Services: Includes clerical work, administrative assistance, comprehensive proofreading, filing, meeting plans, placing phone calls, travel plans, etc.
  • Basic Word Processing Services: A document or project that is produced without enhancements such as tables, font choices, or graphics.
  • Enhanced Word Processing Services: A document or project that is produced with tables, font choices, charts, etc.
  • Desktop Publishing: Desktop publishing is used to produce camera-ready, typeset-like documents combining text and graphics in a variety of character sizes and styles.

Telecommunication Services

  • We provide a private secure telecommunications system, not a large central processing station.
  • Our voice lines are digital and we have a point-to-point T1 line direct to Eschelon
  • We provide a private controlled voice mail system, rather than a large central operating system
  • All your telecommunication needs are administered by the business center: Maintenance is our responsibility..
  • Your telephone set features a do not disturb option, direct voice mail access, conference capability... and more.
  • Our long distance service is not a confusing plan... there are no minute or usage restrictions, no extra monthly fee in order to receive that "per minute rate", and includes all state, federal, municipal and emergency taxes.
  • Your phone bill is detailed. You know the number of calls from your extension. If you notice an error it will be corrected immediately and credit will be applied. We personally review all phone bills to ensure the most accurate representation possible.
  • You don't need Caller ID or Call Waiting... you have us!
  • Upon request, we can "patch" calls directly to your cell phone
  • The system can be programmed to notify you of voice mail
